Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's daughter Suhana, who is all set to debut with Zoya Akhtar's The Archies was recently the special guest at a book launch event in Mumbai. The proud mother Gauri shared her happiness over her daughter's recent success on Instagram. Suhana offered her ideas and unveiled Koel Purie's book, "Clearly Invisible In Paris," during the occasion.

Suhana was featured in a photo and a video that Gauri shared from the occasion, complimenting her daughter's poise for managing her first solo public appearance so expertly. Gauri remembered warmly going to her first public engagement with her husband, actor Shah Rukh Khan, for a book launch. She wrote as her caption: “The first event I ever attended with @iamsrk was a book launch… and now watching @suhanakhan2 speak at another such event has made me feel like life has come full circle! Congratulations ❤️ @koel.purie.”

Speaking at the event, Suhana said, “I have studied in the UK and New York and I feel like it was the people and the friendships that I made that made it home rather than the place.” Talking about her own immigrant story, Suhana said, “I wouldn’t call myself an immigrant and all. I went there to study. I left home when I was 15 for boarding school, so I think that was scary because it was definitely a culture shock and I think it took me a while to feel at home and when I did it was because of the people there and how their friendship, their love made me feel seen when I felt invisible.”

Suhana is getting ready for her eagerly anticipated acting debut in Zoya Akhtar's The Archies adaption for Netflix in India. In this movie based on the legendary comic, she will play the part of Veronica Lodge. Additionally playing prominent roles in the Netflix original are Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, Dot, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Menda. It's believed that the movie will come out this year.
