Sukumar's wife, Tabhita wants these two underrated films of her husband to re-release

After Rajamouli, if there is any director who is considered in high regards talent wise in Telugu cinema, it is none other than Sukumar. The manner in which he has made different films in his long career is there for us all to see. His movies are always way ahead of time but the leap that Skukumar took after Rangasthalam is there for us all to see.

His last film, Pushpa was a rage all over the country and the wait is now on for the sequel of the film. Sukumar's wife, Tabhita Sukumar has made headlines in the Telugu media for the last two days or so. In one of her interviews, she has revealed that Sukumar's yesteryear films, Jagadam and Nenookadine should be re-released once again in a big way.

Tabhita feels that these films were way ahead of their time and will find a solid audience if released now as the re-release culture has grown by leaps and bounds in the Telugu film industry. Jagadam had Ram Pothineni as the main lead and Sukumar showcased gang wars in the film. Nenokkadine had Mahesh Babu as the lead and was a psychological revenge drama.

Sadly, both the films did not do well at the box office and the star director's wife wants them to be re-release now. As of now, Sukumar is busy with Pushpa 2 The Rule. A small teaser featuring Allu Arjun went viral and has created a sensation of sorts in the country once again showcasing Sukumar's talent.
