We know that Sunil Grover recently completed 10 years in the film industry. In an interview with The Indian Express this afternoon, Sunil expressed how he deals with success and failure. He said, “I don’t feel like there is anything like failure. Everything is a success. Every failure leaves you with learning. It has its reasons. During my voice-over artiste days, I used to think it was to run my house, but eventually, I realized that it was all my training. My work approach keeps changing, but as a person, I am the same. There is no longer desperation. I don’t get worried now. If it happens also, I get okay in a few minutes. I don’t take too much pressure now.”

About Sunflower series

Sunflower is a black comedy ZEE5 original web series, directed by Vikas Bahl and Rahul Sengupta. Produced by Reliance Entertainment, the series stars actor-comedian Sunil Grover in the lead role as Sonu.

Sunil recently told The Indian Express, “All I understand is that I am having fun playing the character. Vikas was very clear on how he wanted me to play the character. Thrill and humour go side by side with it. I learned a few things from Sonu, but I want to learn about his confidence.”

The first season comprised 8 episodes and premiered on ZEE5 on June 11, 2021, garnering positive reviews from both critics and audiences alike for its direction, writing, and performances.

Building on the success of the first season, ZEE5 announced in May 2023 that the series would return for a second season. Actress Adah Sharma joined the cast for the upcoming season. The highly anticipated second season is scheduled to premiere on March 1, 2024.
