This is when he spoke to Bollywood Bubble about the iconic trio of Hera Pheri and Hera Pheri 2. While Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty were supposed to be back for Hera Pheri 3, now with Rawal quitting, Shetty might have hinted that he could consider quitting too. That's right, Suniel Shetty said that Hera Pheri 3 would not work even if one person from the iconic trio were out. "When it comes to Hera Pheri, if it wasn’t for Babu Bhai (Paresh Rawal) and Raju (Akshay Kumar), Shyam (Suniel Shetty) wouldn’t exist—he has no meaning. You take any one of them out, and the film doesn’t work," the actor shared, while recalling how even though he was a part of Border, every actor right from Gadar 2's Sunny Deol to Ram Lakhan's Jackie Shroff are all remembered and loved equally for the film. Interestingly, Sunny is back with the movie's sequel and Suniel's son Ahaan Shetty takes the legacy forward with Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh.

Will Suniel Shetty quit Hera Pheri 3?

Suniel Shetty might have hinted that he would have to reconsider Hera Pheri 3 if an actor leaves the film. With Paresh Rawal confirming to Bollywood Hungama that he is indeed out of the movie owing to creative differences, Shetty and even Kumar might have to reconsider working on the project. This holds especially true for Shetty because of his own confession of how the movie would just not be the same.

During his interview, Suniel Shetty was all praises for his character of Shyam from the Hera Pheri franchise. "Where do you get to play such kinds of characters? How often do such characters come to you? Very rare," the actor had said in the very interview.

Fans hopeful of Paresh Rawal's re-entry after Akshay Kumar case

There were previous reports of how Akshay Kumar had quit the movie. However, he was back in the film after a brief back-and-forth. In fact, Priyadarshan also came on board for Hera Pheri 3. So, fans are hopeful that Rawal too would be back in the movie soon and with it, Baburao Ganpatrao Apte would rejoin his Raju and Shyam after working with them on Welcome To The Jungle.
