Suniel Shetty is in a good place in his career. He is awaiting the release of his action-thriller web series Hunter - Tootega Nahi, Todega, and is also shooting for the third instalment of the much-loved, successful comedy film franchise Hera Pheri. And the actor recently spoke about his current phase in life.

Suniel said, "Every phase of life has its own beauty, so I will not say that this is the best phase of my life. When I was a child, I was carefree; as a teenager, I took several of decisions and experienced turmoil as well. College days were filled with joy; getting married and having children had its own beauty; and becoming a grandfather, which I am looking forward to soon, will have its own beauty. Every part of life is exciting. But I must say that in my 30s, when I was doing action films, I was not smart and I did not market myself. I was just focused on my work."

However, the 61-year-old actor says that he has finally reached a phase in life, where he is working on improving himself rather than competing with his contemporaries. At this point in his career, he does not want to stress about box office collections.

He said, "What matters to me now is the commitment that I put into my work. I want to do what no other 60-year-old is doing: I am fit and can fight. To achieve this requires a lot of sacrifice. I will continue to focus on that because mentally I am ready to put in the physical work it demands."

Suniel then joked, "If the show (Hunter - Tootega Nahi, Todega) flops, I can say that the young kids and new directors are responsible. IF Hera Pheri 3 doesn't do well, I will say, 'Arrey, yeh Akshay (Kumar) aur Paresh ji (Rawal) na...(laughs)'. But jokes apart, I am enjoying the process and I know I will enjoy it in the future as well."

Hunter - Tootega Nahi, Todega, which also stars Esha Deol, releases on Amazon miniTV on March 22.
