'Gadar 2', starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, is enjoying a historically strong run at the box office. Since its release, the film has been creating waves at the box office. The movie has been successful in drawing sizable crowds to theaters all around the nation. Gadar 2 brought in a staggering Rs 11.50 crore in net revenue on August 22. As a result, the movie has earned a total of Rs 400.10 crore at the box office. On August 22, 'Gadar 2' had a 24.93% occupancy rate overall.

Now, to thank his fans, Sunny Deol took to Instagram to share a video. In the video, he is heard saying, "Hello everyone. First and foremost, ap sab ka bhot bhot dhanyawaad. Apko picture pasand aayi. Maine socha bhi nahi tha. Hum log 400 cross kar chuke hai, aage jaenge. But ye sab apke vajah se hua hai, apko film pasand ayi, Tara Singh pasand aya, Sakeena pasand ayi, poora parivar pasand aya. So, thank you, thank you, thank you." (First and foremost, thank you all very, very much. You liked the movie. I hadn't even thought about it. We have crossed 400, and we will move forward. But all of this has happened because of you, you liked the film, you liked Tara Singh, you liked Sakeena, the whole family was liked. So, thank you, thank you, thank you.)

After Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, Tara Singh once again crosses and border and reaches Pakistan in Gadar 2, to save his son, Utkarsh Sharma, who is being held captive in Pakistan. Gadar 2, which is set in Lahore in 1971, flawlessly builds on the action-packed scenes of its predecessor while highlighting Tara Singh's unrelenting rage against those who incite animosity between India and Pakistan.

The film receieved mixed reviews from the critics but has been breaking a lot of box office records with its outstanding box office run.
