Thanks to his admirers, Sunny Deol's latest release, Jaat, has been an enormous success. On Sunday, the Gadar 2 star posted a video message to Instagram while walking among picturesque mountain scenery, just days after the film's theatre launch.
Sunny calmly stated in the video, "Aap logo ne mujhe meri Jaat ke liye dher saara pyaar diya. Main vaada karta hoon, Jaat 2 isse bhi zyada acchi hogi (You gave me a lot of love for my film Jaat. I promise Jaat 2 will be even better than this)"
"Main aksar vaadiyon mein ghumne ajata hoon, kyunki mujhe bahut accha lagta hai. Kuch dino mein main apni Border ki shooting ke liye nikal jaunga (I often take a trip to the mountains because I like it a lot. I'll leave in a few days to shoot my film Border)," the actor continued, expressing his fondness for the outdoors. He kissed the screen goodbye and said, "Love you."
"Aapka pyaar hi hai meri taqat. Aap sab ka josh hi hai meri safalta (Your love is my strength. Your zeal is my success)," was the caption that Sunny added to the post when he shared it. While adding, "Keep loving #Jaat and I feel overwhelmed and blessed seeing all the videos of you all celebrating #Jaat and cinema! Keep ‘em coming and share them with me; your love and emotions are what have made #Jaat a success."
Jaat was written and directed by Gopichand Malineni. It premiered on April 10 and has grossed over ₹90 crore globally in a little over a week. Starring alongside Saiyami Kher, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Randeep Hooda, the film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory.
A sequel is now under production, as Sunny has just announced. "#Jaat on to a New Mission! #Jaat2," he wrote beside a poster featuring the title to announce "Jaat 2" on Instagram.
An upcoming appearance in Border 2 is the next project for Deol. Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, and Ahan Shetty are his co-stars in the sequel to the 1997 war blockbuster. Suniel Shetty's legendary performance as BSF officer Bhairav Singh is just one of several memorable figures from the 1971 India-Pakistan war depicted in the original film by JP Dutta.
Deol's upcoming films Jaat 2 and Border 2 promise to deliver even more thrilling performances, bolstered by heartfelt sentiments, patriotic themes, and compelling narratives.
