Following the success of Border 2, he is now back on the sets of his upcoming action thriller, Antony, with shooting officially underway in Mumbai.

As per Variety India, in Antony, Sunny Deol shares the screen with Tamil actress Jyotika and Vijay Varma. Varma will play the antagonist, marking his first collaboration with Deol.
The shoot kicked off on February 27 in Mumbai and is slated to wrap by July 2026, aiming for a theatrical release in early 2027. The film is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment, in association with A.R. Murugadoss’ production banner.
Antony is touted to be a suspense-packed action thriller, with Sunny Deol stepping into a full-fledged action role. The film is helmed by debut director Balaji Ganesh, a Chennai-based filmmaker who has previously worked as an assistant to A.R. Murugadoss on several large-scale projects.

Deol will make his OTT debut with Ikka, also starring Akshaye Khanna. It will be followed by Soorya, an adaptation of the Malayalam thriller Joseph, currently in post-production. Later in the year, audiences can look forward to Lahore 1947 (August 13) and the mythological spectacle Ramayana (November), where Deol co-stars with Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi as Lord Hanuman.
