Sunny Deol was laughing & crying over Gadar 2 success, Animal actor Bobby Deol breaks down on 2023 being Dharmendra’s year too

Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol were the latest guests on Kapil Sharma’s show. This happens a year after both their movies worked at the Box Office. Not just Gadar 2 and Animal success, their father also saw success in the form of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani in the same year, 2023. During their appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, the Deols spoke on the same with tears in their eyes (while trying to hide them too).

Bobby Deol reacts to success

Bobby, who played the role of Abrar Haque in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal and left an impact, went on to talk about how his brother Sunny Deol waited for 22 years after Gadar, to find similar success in his next film which happened to be the sequel, Gadar 2. “Aur ek hi saal main, pehle papa ki film releases huyi, unhone jo role kiya, koi aur karta toh maza hi nahi aata, phir meri film aayi, aur wo bhi superhit ho gayi,” Bobby said, while speaking of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani and eventually Animal success, all in 2023.

Within minutes, Sunny said something that left Bobby in tears. Both the brothers shed tears before continuing to talk about receiving success after so many years.

Sunny Deol went on to talk about how the Deol family has seen a lot in the past years and how their father Dharmendra has been in Bollywood since the 1960s but they have shared the same limelight. The Gadar 2 actor then went on to state that on seeing their success after so many years, he was crying and laughing from inside. The actor then exclaimed, “I didn't know what was happening… As if God revealed himself all of a sudden!” As soon as he said that, Bobby, who tried to hold back his tears so far, just couldn’t anymore. While talking about Animal success too, Sunny also starting tearing down and quickly covered his eyes with sunglasses.

Sunny credits Karan Deol’s wedding and a new member in the Deol family for success

Before tearing up, Sunny went on to talk about his son Karan Deol’s wedding and credited how after Karan’s wife Drisha Acharya entered their house, things changed for the better. Stating that he, Bobby and Dharmendra all put in their best efforts all this while, Sunny said, “As my son got married and a daughter came in our home, things took a turn for good.”
