The makers of Oh My Ghost unveiled the first look of actor Sathish recently. Arya, who was seen last in Sarpatta Parambarai, had released the same on Twitter. We hear that Sathish is playing Bharath, an aspiring director, in this upcoming horror-comedy. Directed by Yuvan of Sindhanai Sei fame, the film also stars Sunny Leone, Yogi Babu and Darsha Gupta in prominent roles.
Speaking to The Times of India, Yuvan had said, "Sunny Leone plays an arrogant queen in Oh My Ghost. The thing about her character is that she’s both the hero and villain. There will be moments where she is a soft person and then, there is also this arrogant side to her. So, the role required her to switch on and off different emotions, and she has done a great job with it."
Further, Yuvan was quoted in The Times of India saying, "Sunny Leone doesn't mind going for retakes till she gets the scene right. Also, she started preparing for her role a month in advance. Sunny had a Tamil tutor; she can speak fluent Tamil now; as good as a newsreader. In fact, we are planning to get her to dub for her role. Ramesh Tilak will be seen in the role of a cameraman. Yogi Babu’s portions will appear during the flashback. Oh My Ghost happens in two timelines. We shot most of the film on a set in Mumbai that was specially erected for the film."
Oh My Ghost is Sunny Leone’s second film in Tamil after Shero, which is yet to be released. On the other hand, Sathish is playing the lead role in a film titled Sattam En Kayyil.
Produced by Veera Shakthi and K Sasi Kumar, Oh My Ghost has music by Javed Riaz, cinematography by Deepak D Menon and editing by Ramesh Bharathi.
One may recall Vijay Sethupathi and director Venkat Prabhu releasing the first look poster of Oh My Ghost, through their social networking pages, in the first week of April.
