In no time, the film has clocked over 200 million streaming minutes and will now hit the big screens on May 27, 2025, in select theaters. Sunny Sanjay has directed the film, and he is beaming with pride that his film will now play in theaters as well.

Speaking about the same, Sunny says, "What else can a director ask for? It is always hurting to see your film not getting a theatrical release. But I have no complaints, as Anaganaga has received more love than I expected. But now that the film is getting a theatrical release, I am thrilled to bits. A new section of the audience will get to watch my film, and I am confident that they all will like it."
Sunny Sanjay's debut has become a talking point, as his work in the family drama is being praised by one and all. How he has given a solid message by narrating it through a moving family drama has been loved by everyone. Anaganaga is about a schoolteacher who goes against the system to change the teaching style in his school, only to get rejected by his wife, who is the school's principal. All this is showcased movingly, and the climax twist and emotions in the second half have left everyone teary-eyed.
Kajal Choudhary plays the female lead, and though she is not a Telugu girl, the way she portrayed an independent woman with heavy emotions won the hearts of many. Kajal has signed multiple films thanks to Anaganaga.
