Super Deluxe actress to play the female lead in GV Prakash’s new film

Gayathrie Shankar, whom we last saw as Jyothi, the on-screen wife of Vijay Sethupathi in Super Deluxe, has been cast as the leading lady in G.V.Prakash Kumar’s movie, to be directed by Seenu Ramasamy.

Gayathrie shot to fame with her performances in Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom and Super Deluxe. She is often paired up with Vijay Sethupathi and has also acted with him in Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren. She was also a part of Parthiban’s critically acclaimed Oththa Seruppu Size 7.

G.V.Prakash Kumar, on the other hand, is looking forward to the OTT release of his delayed movie Ayngaran on August 13 on Sony Liv. His recent film Sivappu Manjal Pachai, starring Siddharth and Lijomol Jose, was well received by critics.

Seenu Ramasamy rose to fame with Dharma Durai in which Vijay Sethupathi starred as an alcoholic doctor. Seenu is naturally enthusiastic about the shoot scheduled to start in the first week of August.

He is also looking forward to his next release Maamanithan, a rural drama starring Vijay Sethupathi. This will mark the third collaboration of Seenu Ramasamy, Yuvan Shankar Raja and Vijay Sethupathi after Idam Porul Yaeval and Dharma Durai.
