Super Machi release date: When and where to watch Kalyaan Dhev, Rachita Ram's romantic drama on OTT

Super Machi, starring Kalyaan Dhev and Rachita Ram in the lead, was a surprise entrant at the box office for the Sankranti season in 2022. The film, written and directed by Puli Vasu and bankrolled by Rizwan under Rizwan Entertainments. The romantic drama, which had music by S Thaman, made it to theatres alongside Rowdy Boys and Bangarraju and sank without a trace. The film is finally available to watch on OTT. Super Machi is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

The film revolves around Meenakshi, a young girl who's doing good for herself with a cushy corporate job. All of it changes when she comes across Raju, a local bar singer whom she's madly in love with. Raju spends a major part of his day roaming around with a bunch of good-for-nothing friends. He pays no heed to Meenakshi's interest in him and even warns her to not stalk him endlessly. He puts her through many humiliating situations though she tolerates his unreasonable behaviour sans any complaint. What explains Meenakshi's unconditional love for Raju?

Naresh VK, Rajendra Prasad, Posani Krishna Murali, Pragathi, Ajay, Mahesh, Shariff and Satya essay supporting roles in the film. Shyam K Naidu is the cinematographer for the same while Marthand K Venkatesh handled the editing. Krishna Kanth had penned the lyrics and Brahma Kadali was the art director. Super Machi, which faced a lot of delays during the making stages, marked the Telugu debut of Rachita Ram and she came in place of Rhea Chakraborty, who had also shot a few scenes in the film before opting out of the project. 

The drama was dubbed as Meenakshi in Kannada. Kalyaan Dhev had earlier acted in Vijetha and will be seen next in Kinnerasani, directed by Ramana Teja.
