After being paralyzed in a horseback riding accident, actor Christopher Reeve becomes an advocate for disability rights in the 2024 documentary Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story. Christopher Reeve's life and transformation

Christopher Reeve, who played Superman in the '70s and '80s films, was an actor and activist. Never-before-seen home movies and personal archives tell the story of his sad and redemptive life. After becoming paralyzed from the neck down in a near-fatal horse-riding accident, Reeve learned the meaning of courage and dedicated his life to advocating for disability rights.

The National Board of Review ranked it as one of the five best documentaries of 2024, and critics and viewers alike were unanimous in their praise.

Aside from acting, Christopher D'Olier Reeve was also a filmmaker, activist, and writer.
