Super Singer Season 4: Shubhadeep Das Chowdhury wins the musical race

After a rigorous battle for months, Shubhadeep Das Chowdhury bagged the champion’s trophy. While Anuradha became second, Anwesha Mondal stood third. Shreya grabbed the fourth position and Bishwarup and Anindita jointly stood fifth. 

This year, the grand finale took place in two parts. Udit Narayan graced the honour of the guest judge. Along with him, three regular judges, Shaan, Monali Thakur, and Rupam Islam, also graced the event. Jisshu U Sengupta anchored this year’s show. Actors Rahul Majumder and Shubhasmita Mukherjee, who play Shankar and Oishani in Harogouri Pice Hotel, were present as guests in the first part of the finale. On Sunday, the final day, Dibyojyoti Dutta and Swastika Ghosh – Surjo and Deepa of Anurager Chhowa – graced the event.

Throughout the five months, contestants were given multiple tasks. There with tough fights and throughout the season, various shades of their lives were unveiled to the viewers. All the judges, including Udit, Shaan, Monali and Rupam, performed at the event. 

Shubhadeep started his journey in this reality show with Ibadat. Like last year’s contestant Suchismitam he also hails from Behala. Anuradha mesmerised with Kirtan and Anwesha performed root music. 

Shubhadeep performed Lal Ishq in the final round. Udit sand Papa Kehte Hai for him. Anuradha sang Harinan and Anwesha, Mawla Mere Lele Meri Jaan. She took the netizens by storm with her music even before the finale.
