Super Subbu teaser: Sundeep Kishan new series is all about sex education, chaos, and hilarious comedy

By now, it is a known fact that Sundeep Kishan is going to headline a Telugu Netflix series titled Super Subbu. The series was announced a long time ago, but Netflix recently unveiled the teaser at a special event in Mumbai, and it looks hilarious.

Super Subbu has been created and directed by Mallik Ram, who last made the superhit film DJ Tillu with Siddhu Jonnalagadda. The teaser opens with Murali Sharma scolding his son, played by Sundeep Kishan, asking him to get a job and settle down in life. 

Sundeep Kishan’s character is showcased as someone who rejects nearly 60 marriage proposals due to issues related to sex education. The story takes an interesting turn when Sundeep Kishan’s character, who is also a teacher, is posted to an imaginary town called Maakipuram, where he is assigned to teach sex education to villagers.

What is the basic story of Super Subbu series?

Upon landing in Maakipuram, Sundeep Kishan gets the shock of his life seeing villagers having babies indiscriminately. The basic premise of the series looks extremely funny, as it revolves around how a sex education teacher tries to control the birth rate in a small town. 

Sex education is a delicate topic, and the way comedy has been woven around it looks promising. The chaos, character design, and comic situations are handled neatly by Mallik Ram

Who are the cast and crew of Super Subbu?

Murali Sharma, Sundeep Kishan, and Sampoornesh Babu are all seen in hilarious avatars. Mallik Ram, who created solid comedy with DJ Tillu and made Siddhu Jonnalagadda an overnight sensation, now faces the big question of whether he can repeat the same success with Sundeep Kishan. 

Who is the female lead in Super Subbu series?

Yet another major highlight of the series is Mithila Palkar, who makes her Telugu debut with Super Subbu. She plays the female lead and Sundeep Kishan’s love interest, and their chemistry looks quite intriguing in the teaser.

The series also features Brahmanandam, Getup Srinu, and several others in key roles. Netflix has yet to announce the streaming date, but the teaser looks entertaining.
