Superboys of Malegaon trailer OUT: Adarsh Gourav and Shashank Arora bring small dreams to big screen in love letter to cinema

Excel Entertainment, Tiger Baby, and Amazon MGM Studios have just released the official trailer for their upcoming original film, Superboys of Malegaon. The film is based on a true tale and takes place in the small village of Malegaon in Maharashtra. It follows the lives of Nasir Shaikh, an amateur filmmaker, and his friends as they revive the town and turn it into a centre for filmmaking love. Superboys of Malegaon has Ritesh Sidhwani, Zoya Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar, and Reema Kagti as producers. Reema Kagti and Varun Grover are the film's director and writer, respectively. In it, you may see Adarsh Gourav, Shashank Arora, Vineet Kumar Singh, Anuj Singh Duhan, Saqib Ayub, Pallav Singh, Manjiri Pupala, Muskkaan Jaferi, and Riddhi Kumar among other actors. Indian, American, British, UAE, Australian, and New Zealand cinemas will host the film's world premiere on February 28.

Superboys of Malegaon has won over audiences all over the world and received nothing but praise. At its global premiere in September 2024 at the 49th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), it was met with a standing ovation. At the 36th Palm Springs International Film Festival, it was named an audience favorite in the Young Cineaste category, and it wowed audiences at the 68th BFI London Film Festival and the 4th Red Sea Film Festival. This comedy-drama has captivated audiences and critics with its gripping story, profound emotions, and masterful storytelling.
