Suriya 42 on OTT: This is where you can watch Suriya movie

The latest industry buzz is that the streaming rights of Tamil superstar Suriya's highly anticipated film, which is tentatively titled Suriya 42, has been acquired by Amazon Prime Video. The unconfirmed reports claim that this deal has fetched Rs 80 crore for the producers. However, an official word on the same is awaited. 

The film, written and directed by Siva, has already generated a lot of buzz in the film industry, with its pre-release business reportedly pegged at over Rs 500 crore . Produced by KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green, the film is being made on a massive budget and promises to be a visual spectacle. The film's first look, which was released last year, has already garnered a lot of attention and excitement among fans.

The news of Amazon Prime Video acquiring the streaming rights for Suriya 42 has only added to the buzz surrounding the film. With Amazon Prime Video being a leading player in the streaming space, this acquisition is expected to give the film a wider reach and a much larger audience.

Suriya 42 is expected to be a game-changer for Tamil cinema, with its high-octane action sequences, gripping storyline, and impressive visual effects. Earlier, Gnanavel Raja called this film "Tamil cinema's answer to KGF 2 and RRR."  

"The budget of this film is three times over the highest budget film that Suriya has done so far. And the business of this movie is twice over his previous movies. It was very risky in terms of budget when we started," Gnanavel had said earlier in an interview. 

The production of Suriya 42 is going on in full swing. The filmmakers are expected to reveal the film's actual title and the teaser, giving a glimpse of the costume drama, in the new few days. The film's release date has not been announced yet. However, it's expected to open in cinemas during Pongal next year .
