Suriya, the National Award-winning actor, is all set to bounce back after the massive failure of Kanguva, with back-to-back ambitious films. The talented actor recently wrapped up his 44th film, tentatively titled Suriya 44, directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The actor is currently busy with the filming of of his 45th film, directed by actor-filmmaker RJ Balaji. The makers of the film, tentatively named Suriya 45, recently announced the cast and crew on social media.
Recently, the makers of Suriya 45 took to the official social media handles of Dream Warrior Pictures, and revealed the massive star cast and technical crew, of the film. As reported earlier, Suriya is playing the central character in the film, which stars popular actress Trisha Krishnan as the female lead.
Popular actor-comedina Yogi Babu has been roped in to playing a key role in the RJ Balaji directorial, which features popular Malayalam actors, Indrans, Swasika and Sshivada, in the pivotal role. Natarajan Subramaniam aka Natty, Kaathal: The Core fame actress Anagha Maaya Ravi, Supreeth Reddy, and others play the supporting roles in the film.
Initially, Academy award-winning musician AR Rahman was roped in to compose the music for Suriya 45. However, the legend walked out of the film due to his busy schedule, and young talent Sai Abhyankkar has come on board for the project. GK Vishnu has joined the team as the director of photography. Vikram Mor handles the action choreography of the film. R Kalavanan handles the editing of the film. Arjun Venjaramoodu handles the production design.
If the recent updates are to be believed, the untitled RJ Balaji directorial features both Suriya and Trisha Krishnan, in the roles of lawyers. Suriya45 reportedly revolves around a temple that is located inside a court, and a legal case involving the same, which eventually becomes a massive social issue. The much-awaited project is expected to hit the theatres by mid-2025.
