Suriya 45: Young composer Sai Abhyankkar replaces AR Rahman in RJ Balaji film

We had already reported that actor Suriya will be teaming with filmmaker-actor RJ Balaji for a film which is tentatively called Suriya 45. While making the announcement, it was announced that composer AR Rahman will be part of the project. However, in a turn of events, the makers on Monday announced that young and happening musician Sai Abhyankkar has come onboard as composer

Suriya, who was last seen in Kanguva, is teaming up with director and actor RJ Balaji for the first time for Suriya 45. While the project was announced initially, AR Rahman was announced as the composer. However, in a turn of events, on Monday, the team announced that young composer and singer Sai Abhyankkar has been onboard the project. It is not known why the replacement has occurred.

It is indeed a big step for Sai Abhyankkar, who has made viral hit songs like Aasa Kuda and Katchi Sera. The sensational composer, who is the son of singers Tipu and Harini, is already a known face in the indie music space. He is already making his debut with the upcoming film Benz, starring Raghava Lawrence which will be coming under LCU. Now, his sophomore musical will be that of Suriya’s. All expectations are high for the much-anticipated project.

All we know about Suriya 45

Suriya 45 is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. The film was launched a while ago, and has gone on floors a couple of weeks back. The main crew of the film, including RJ Balaji, and Suriya were spotted at the Masaniamman Temple near Pollachi.

It is also to be noted that the makers on Sunday announced that cinematographer GK Vishnu, who shot Jawan, Mersal and Bigil, is onboard the project. Official announcements on other team members are expected to be made shortly. As per reports, Trisha has also joined the cast of Suriya 45.
