Suriya's critically acclaimed film Jai Bhim is now a book! The Vaadi Vaasal actor releases its cover

Suriya's critically acclaimed film Jai Bhim, which was lauded by one and everyone, is now a book! The Vaadi Vaasal actor recently launched its cover and the film's production house, 2D Entertainment shared the same on its social media handle. The cover features the lead characters of the film, which includes Suriya, Lijimol Jose and Manikandan. The book has been compiled by author Arunchol and will comprise the screenplay and dialogues as well. We hear that the book will be available at the Chennai book fair.

Jai Bhim, helmed by TJ Gnanavel, is a legal drama, which deals with police brutality and discrimination against the marginalised communities. The film is based on a true incident that happened in 1993 which involved Justice K Chandru fighting for the rights of the oppressed. Suriya had played Justice K Chandru in the film. The film was released directly on Amazon Prime Video and released during the peak of the pandemic. It met with critical acclaim from all quarters. The film has gone on to bag a number of awards.

In the meantime, Suriya is currently shooting for Suriya42, which is directed by Siva. The team has wrapped up a schedule. The film is said to be made on a huge budget and will mark the debut of Bollywood star Disha Patani in Tami. Suriya42 will be released in 10 languages and is billed as a pan-India project.

This apart, Suriya has in his kitty Vetri Maaran's much-awaited film Vaadi Vaasal, in which Suriya will play a Jallikattu bull tamer. This is the first time that the actor will be playing a bull tamer and the test shoot has already been completed. Now that Vetri Maaran has wrapped up the shoot for Viduthalai, he is likely to begin work on Vaadi Vaasal. Suriya will also be seen in a special appearance in the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru and in an untitled film with Sudha Kongara.
