We had earlier reported that Suriya and filmmaker Venky Atluri’s film has been titled Vishwanath And Sons. The makers of the project, on Saturday, gave an update about when to expect the teaser of the film. Vishwanath And Sons is set to release in theatres for summer.
Vishwanath And Sons: When is the teaser of Suriya film dropping?
Vishwanath And Sons is an upcoming Tamil-Telugu film which features Suriya in the lead role. The film is written and directed by Venky Atluri in his first collaboration with the actor. On Saturday, the makers of Vishwanath And Sons announced that the teaser of the film will be dropping very soon; precisely on March 16, at 4.06 pm.
The teaser is expected to reveal more about the Suriya-starrer, which is rumoured to be a love story between a couple with glaring age gap. Billed to be a family entertainer, Suriya will be playing Sanjay Vishwanath. The first look poster which was unveiled earlier showed Suriya along with an infant.
Apart from Suriya, the film also stars Mamitha Baiju, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Raveena Tandon, and others. GV Prakash scores music. Vishwanath And Sons is set to release in theatres in July, with Netflix grabbing the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film.
What about Suriya’s Karuppu?
Meanwhile fans of Suriya have been growing impatient over the silence on release of Karuppu. The RJ Balaji directorial, also stars Trisha Krishnan, Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Sshivada, Supreeth Reddy and Yogi Babu in key roles. Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, the film marks the first collaboration between Suriya and RJ Balaji and has music by Sai Abhyankkar.
The makers have not yet officially announced the release date of Karuppu, with speculations suggesting that the team is eyeing for an April release. Billed to be a courtroom drama with divine intervention, RJ Balaji will also be playing the antagonist.
