Surprise, Naruto fans! Four new episodes of GOAT anime will drop on its 20th anniversary – details inside

Naruto has been the GOAT in anime world. The show, which has one of the longest episodes count (all worth it for Naruto fans) ever, will be adding a few more episodes. Four new episodes of Naruto will release as the show completes 20 years of its release.

Naruto will mark its 20th anniversary in September, 2023. The show originally aired on TV in October 2022.

The official Naruto website has made the special announcement. The anime will be back with new episodes for its fans all across the world.

Since it is a huge day for anime in Japan, a few episodes of Naruto will also re-run in Japan. They will re-run from July, 2023.

It does not end there. Naruto’s spin-off, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, which is currently airing on Japan TV, also has a surprise planned. The makers released three new visuals, hinting that there might be a huge surprise for Naruto fans and Boruto stans too.

Naruto originally aired from 2022 to 2007. Meanwhile, Naruto: Shippuden started airing from 2007 itself and came to an end a decade later, in 2017.

Naruto has many movies and original video anime. It was during The Last: Naruto The Movie, that the makers hinted at the next generation – Boruto. Of course, by 2017, Boruto also started airing on TV and is currently releasing new episodes too.

The first part of Boruto will come to an end on March 26. The second part of the show has been green-lit for production and is expected to air soon enough too.
