Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra, which is trilogy set for a pan-India release, is leaving no stone unturned to create the much-deserved hype and excitement around his ambitious project. And now, South Indian megastar Junior NTR has joined the already-impressive cast as the guest of honour for the film's special pre-event event to be held in Hyderabad. Ayan Mukerji confirmed the same on Instagram with a short clip of the star. 

Another big name to join the team in their efforts to promote the film down South is Baahubali director SS Rajamouli. 

Interestingly, it will be the first time that we will see Junior NTR and his RRR co-star Alia Bhatt come together since they delivered the massive hit together. 

The event in question is set to be held in Hyderabad on September 2.

For the uninitiated, Brahmastra has an elabroate star cast that includes Telugu superstar Nagarjuna in the role of Nandi Astra; Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy play pivotal roles in the movie. 

The film is based on opmne of the most powerful Astra (weapon), the Brahmastra, and has been made over a period of seven years. 

Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Dharma Productions, this film will see real-life couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt come together for a movie for the first time. 

Brahmastra is scheduled to release on September 9 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
