Sushant Singh Rajput's pet dog Fudge dies, fans say, 'They are reunited now in heaven'

Three years after the death of the Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Priyanka Singh revealed the sad news that their beloved pet dog Fudge had passed away.

Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, Ms Priyanka shared pictures of Sushant and herself with Fudge and wrote, "So long Fudge! You joined your friend's Heavenly territory... will follow soon! Till then... so heart broken."

Several fans of SSR commented on the post as soon as she published it, expressing their sorrow and sympathies to the family. "I'm so sorry di, sending you to love It's absolutely heartbreaking for us. They are reunited now in heaven. And I knew, dogs don't last forever after their owner is gone. Fudge," wrote one user. "This is a very sad news..heartfelt condolences to all of you..may his soul rest in peace," said another. A fan commented, "I hope this bond will continue in heaven too." Another said, “R.I.P. FUDGE Nothing to say ..this is very heart breaking news to us all...but he is a true friend of Sushant and went to his friend to live happily with him forever and ever.…Sushant Lived InDMoment.”

On June 14, 2020, SSR's body was discovered in his apartment in Mumbai. After earning a name for himself as the lead on the TV show Pavitra Rishta, Sushant Singh Rajput made his feature film debut in 2013 with the Abhishek Kapoor-helmed film Kai Po Che!

The films Kedarnath, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Raabta, Chhichhore, and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! are among those Sushant Singh Rajput has acted in. His last film was Dil Bechara where he appeared alongside Sanjana Sanghi. After his passing in 2020, the movie a Hindi adaptation of The Fault in Our Stars was released.
