Varathan and Kumbalangi Nights composer Sushin Shyam once again proves why he's one of the best music directors in Malayalam right now, with the first track from Dulquer Salmaan’s Kurup. The song, titled Pakaliravukal in Malayalam, was released in five languages and featured visuals of a time when Dulquer’s character Sukumara Kurup was romancing his girlfriend Sarasamma, essayed by Sobhitha Dhulipala in the 70s.

The song begins with a conversation between the duo's characters and shows the two bonding in Mumbai. Sobhitha, who plays a nurse, meets Kurup during his days with the Indian Air Force. The video also gives us a glimpse of Kurup's love for fancy cars.

The track, which is titled Uravenum Vazhiyea in Tamil, Edi Paravasamo in Telugu, Arerere Ragale in Kannada and Pal Itna Mera in Hindi, is rendered by Neha Nair and has lyrics by Anwar Ali.

Kurup, which will mark Dulquer’s first theatrical release since the pandemic, is directed by Srinath Rajendran and has the actor essaying the role of one of India’s most wanted fugitives. The film is currently slated to hit theatres across the world on November 12.
