Not all exes have to be bitter after their break-up, and former celebrity couple Sushmita Sen and Rohman Shawl prove that former lovers can be friends, too.
Recently, Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen and her ex-boyfriend model Rohman Shawl were papped outside a store in Mumbai. The actor, who is now dating the first Chairman of Indian Premier League (IPL) lalit Modi, spent the last Sunday in the company of her daughter Renee Sen and Rohman Shawl, who continues to be close to the family despite their break-up lasty year.
They announced their separation last year and continue to remain friends ever since. In December of 2021, the actress took to her Instagram handle to share a picture of them and wrote, "We began as friends, we remain friends!! The relationship was long over…the love remains!! #nomorespeculations #liveandletlive #cherishedmemories #gratitude #love #friendship I love you guys!!!"
Subsequently, as reported by India TV, Rohman had moved out of her house.
In a recent interaction with Twinkle Khanna's digital content company Tweak India, Sushmita surprised one and all by revealing that she was close to tying the knot thrice in her life, but luckily escaped because of the situations.
She also added that she chose to stay unmarried despite meeting some interesting men as she felt they were a huge letdown. The model-turned-actress also clarified that her kids have nothing to do with the decision to stay single.
Actress Sushmita Sen was in the news a few months ago when she ended relationship with her boyfriend Rohman Shawl after dating for three years. Though many expected the former Miss Universe and Rohman to stay in love for a longtime, she took to her social media page to announce the separation. However, their fans appreciated them for announcing their relationship status openly.

She said, "Both my kids have always understood the importance of other people in my life. They were never uncomfortable with others. I believe they have always displayed love and respect towards the important people in my life. It's something I can explain beyond words."
Interestingly, Sushmita also revealed that she got to know the lives of three men she was interested in going topsy-turvy. She considers that God protected her and saved her two children. The actress had earlier said to have dated Randeep Hooda, Mudassar Aziz and Vikram Bhatt among a few.
