Sushmita Sen on Aarya season 2: One last schedule to go

In a recent Instagram live session with fans, Sushmita Sen spilled some beans on the popular Disney+ Hotstar Original series Aarya's much-anticipated season 2. In the live session featuring Sen along with her boyfriend Rohman Shawl and daughters Renee and Alisah, the actor revealed that the last schedule of Aarya's season two is yet to be shot.

In a candid chat with fans, the actor revealed her eagerness to tell fans about Aarya’s second instalment. She confessed about being bombarded with questions on Aarya 2 whenever she comes online. The actor has asked them to be patient, adding, "The last schedule is left for Aarya and it is not a very long one so it should be done very, very soon.”

She even expressed her gratitude towards fans for their love and appreciation for the show and requested similar encouragement for the second season. Aarya marked Sushmita's return to showbiz after a long hiatus and was also her digital debut. Sen played the titular role in the show directed by Ram Madhvani.

The show revolves around Aarya, who takes on the challenge to save her family after her husband's murder and is desperate for vengeance. Aarya also features Namit Das, Sikandar Kher, Ankur Bhatia.
