Apart from her impressive filmography, Sushmita garners attention for her personal life, especially her love life. Sushmita recently shed light on her marriage plans and expressed delight in getting married someday when all her boxes are checked. The 48-year-old actress also advised people not to think about social constraints about the ‘right time’ or biological clock as contributing factors to getting married.
"It has never been a ‘never’ situation. Be it the biological clock or the right time provided by social conditioning, neither is the right reason to get married. But if the person is right and ticks all the boxes as far as I am concerned, of course, I will get married,” Sushmita shared with Indulge.
Sushmita said that her relationships with Lalit Modi and Rohman Shawl have had a positive impact on her life. Sushmita dated Rohman Shawl from 2018 to 2021 but parted ways after a mutual breakup. She then pursued a brief romance with business tycoon Lalit Modi, but later admitted that it was just "another phase".
In the same conversation, Sushmita shared that breakups should be considered life lessons and not mistakes because when you invest your time in a human being, it is not worth calling it a waste. Believing in destiny and its plans, Sushmita says that one should move on in life even after a breakup. The Main Hoon Na actress revealed that although it is hard and confusing to be friends with the exes, it is possible if one understands how to draw the line.
"Many people can be friends with their exes and not know where to draw the line or have boundaries. But it’s possible because I have seen it happen, and I am blessed to have it in my life as well,” the Taali actress further added.
Meanwhile, Sushmita was last seen in the crime thriller Aarya Season 3, which is available to be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.
