The upcoming ZEE5 web series Sutliyan also features Shiv Panditt, Ayesha Raza, and Vivaan Shah. In an interview with TellyChakkar, the actor opened up about her web series Sutliyan and the relationship she shares with her sibling. 

Speaking about her experience working on the series, she said it was a great experience collaborating with talented people. The series revolves around a small family and throws light on the bond that they share with each other. It is about three children returning to their home town, a few weeks before Diwali. Plabita plays the role of one of the three kids in the family. She further said that the entire team bonded well during the shoot and they had a fun and memorable experience working with each other.

She also spilled some beans about her character, without revealing much about it. She said that her character has a journey of its own and grows throughout the show. It is about how she tries to accept and learn things in life as the show progresses. The show is also about sibling love and familial bond. The Homecoming actor also opened up about the bond she shares with her real-life sister. She said she was a difficult child, growing up as she would bully her sibling a lot. She would also reveal every secret of her to their parents.

Meanwhile, the series also marks the digital debut of the director Shree Narayan Singh of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha fame. The official description of the slice-of-life show reads, "As they meet after years, trying to come to terms with situations, they are burdened with emotional baggage from the past and unresolved conflicts in relationships as they undergo the challenging, yet necessary journey of emotional and spiritual cleansing."

Sutliyan aims to make people realise the importance of family. It is being produced by Manor Rama Pictures.
