Swan Song release date: When and where to watch Mahershala Ali’s sci-fi drama film

How far would a person go to spare their loved ones the pain and suffering of loss? The upcoming film, Swan Song, seeks to explore just this and will hit OTT this month.

What is Swan Song about?

Set in a futuristic world, Swan Song tells the tale of a man whose world comes crumbling down on him when he learns he has a terminal illness. While grappling with the news, he is offered a radical solution by his doctor which has the potential to spare his family the grief of his loss; he has the option of leaving a cloned copy of himself to take his place after his passing. Complicating his position is the fact that his wife is already reeling from a tragic event in the past.

Who are the cast and crew behind Swan Song?

The film stars Mahershala Ali in the lead role along with Naomie Harris, Awkwafina, Glenn Close and Adam Beach.

The film is directed by Benjamin Cleary, who has won an Academy Award for his short film Stutterer. The film is produced by Ali along with Rebecca Bourke and Jonathan King. It is produced under the banners of Anonymous Content, Know Wonder, Concordia Studios and Apple Studios.
