Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad to have a traditional wedding after their registered marriage. Here's what the invite looks like...

Swara Bhasker surprised everyone with her announcement last month that she and politician Fahad Ahmad were married. The couple, who had a simple registered court marriage, are all set for a traditional wedding ceremony later this month. 

Swara and Fahad's wedding ceremony will be held in Delhi, which is where they first met. It is expected to be attended only by the couple's family and close friends.

A wedding invite designer shared the invite of Swara and Fahad's wedding on Instagram, which soon become widely shared. It is designed by Prateeq and illustrated by Anupam Arunachalam, and the wedding invite is as unique as Swara and Fahad's love story.

The unique wedding invite is an illustration of Swara and Fahad's love story, and shows Swara in a red lehenga and Fahad beige sherwani looking out of their window at a protest on the road below. One can also see people holding banners that read, 'Hum kaagaz nahi dikhaege' (We won't show our papers: the slogan used during the CAA protests, which is where Swara and Fahad first met). 

The invite also has their cat, Ghalib, illustrated on it.

The wedding invite post read, "We had the opportunity to work on the wedding invite for the fearless and fabulous @reallyswara and @fahadzirarahmad Swara and Fahad wanted the invite to capture how they met and fell for each other during a citizen protest, their memories of Mumbai and Marine Drive, their abiding love for the movies, and of course, for their beautiful cat, Ghalib 🐾."

People soon began reacting to the post, reacting with comments such as "This is sooooo awesome ..like wow ...fearless , powerful at the same time ..love", and "This is so beautiful ❤️"

In her post last month in which she announced her wedding, Swara captioned a video featuring Fahad as, "Sometimes you search far & wide for something that was right next to you all along. We were looking for love, but we found friendship first. And then we found each other! Welcome to my heart @FahadZirarAhmad It’s chaotic but it’s yours!"
