Swastika Mukherjee to work in a Bangladeshi film

Swastika Mukherjee will soon be seen in a Bangladeshi movie. The film’s name is Alta Banu Kokhono Jotsna Dekheni. The shooting will start in mid-July. Swastika will pair up with the Bangladeshi actor Sariful Raj. In this Eid, three of Sariful’s films were released. Now, he will be seen in this new film in three characters. Swastika’s character is named Alta Banu and Raj’s character is named Premchand.

The film’s director Himu Akram told Bangladeshi media, “Contract agreements were signed by both the actor and actress and the look sets are final.” But he did not want to reveal anything about the story.

It is heard that Alta Banu Kokhono Josna Dekheni is of the thriller genre. The story will revolve around the two characters. The director took time to find the character Premchand. Raj’s story is layered in three stages. Though his main name is Premchand, he will be seen as two other characters also, Sujan Mia and Muinul Hossain. Himu said, “Finding the actor was time-consuming. It is difficult to find an artist here who can portray three characters in one story. I thought Sariful Raj could do it.”

The shooting will take place in Bangladesh’s Syedpur, Astagram, Puran Dhaka, and Rajendrapur. The majority of the shooting is outdoors. Hence, the director will start shooting after the monsoon takes leave.
