Swatantrya Veer Savarkar box office collection day 3 - Randeep Hooda made his directorial debut with a film, based on the life of Indian freedom fighter and reformer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar aka Veer Savarkar. The actor, who plays the lead role in the film, has shared screen space with Ankita Lokhande in Swatantrya Veer Savarkar. As far as the film's box office collection is concerned, the total earnings of the movie are approximately Rs 6 crore.

Swatantrya Veer Savarkar clashed with Madgaon Express at the box office on March 22, 2024. Although the Randeep Hooda directorial has earned well at the BO, the film still lags behind Kunal Kemmu's directorial venture. According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Swatantrya Veer Savarkar earned Rs 2.60 crore at the box office on day three. Now, the total box office collection goes up to Rs 5.90 crore.
As far as Madgaon Express is concerned, the film has earned around Rs 7 crore at the box office. It remains to be seen how Swatantrya Veer Savarkar holds its ground with stiff competition from Pratik Gandhi and Divyenndu's film. Not to forget, Rajesh Krishan's Crew is scheduled for a release on March 29. Its release may pose a threat to Randeep and Ankita's film.

Earlier at the trailer launch of Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, Randeep Hooda called his project an 'anti-propaganda' film. "This is an anti-propaganda film. It will counter all the propaganda against Savarkar that has been going on since decades. He was not a 'maafiveer' (apologist). Not only him, many other people too wrote mercy petitions at the time. I have addressed this very extensively in the film," he said.
Where to watch Swatanrtya Veer Savarkar on OTT?
Although there's no official confirmation, the buzz is that Swatantrya Veer Savarkar will have a digital release on ZEE5. The film might drop on the streaming platform after 45 to 60 days of its theatrical run.
