Just what happened in the last over of the warm-up game between India and Australia? The host nation was on the way to winning the first warm-up game of the T20 World Cup 2022, but Mohammed Shami changed the course of the game when he came to bowl in the last over.

11 runs were needed from the last over and skipper Rohit Sharma summoned Shami from nowhere.

The bowler hasn't played a T20I since last year's World Cup and he was thrown straight into the deep end. But, he did live up to his name and experience.

The first two balls of the over went for two runs each, but the game changed from the third ball.

Shami bowled to Pat Cummins and Kohli, who was standing at the boundary took a one-handed stunner right at the edge of the ropes.

On his next ball, he got Ashton Agar's run-out. Josh Inglis was going for the single but Dinesh Karthik collected and threw it back at the bowler, who turned around and smashed the stumps.

The next two balls were just magical as Shami cleaned and bowled Josh Inglis and Kane Richardson with his perfect yorkers.

This saw India winning by 6 wickets. They will next face New Zealand on 19 October.
