Taapsee Pannu's 'Haseen Dillruba' to release on Netflix on July 2, Watch teaser

Taapsee Pannu, who's been growing from strength to strength as an actor every passing year, is gearing up for the release of Haseen Dillruba next. The film is slated to release on July 2 on the streaming giant Netflix. The streamer released a riveting teaser of the film earlier today, catching netizens by surprise.

The teaser introduces Taapsee as a newlywed woman in a sensuous avatar. The actress is seen romancing both the leading men. While Harshvardhan sports an infectious smile through the teaser, Vikrant looks as intense as ever. Haseen Dillruba is a crime-thriller revolving around a woman, who gets entangled in her husband’s murder, which apparently, she hasn’t committed.

Taapsee had also shared an intriguing poster of the film on Instagram, captioning it, “Ek shama. Do parwaane. Kya jal mitenge yeh deewaanein? #HaseenDillruba #TheUltimateKaunspiracy.” Netflix commented on the post, cheekily adding, “We cannot wait to meet this Haseen Dillruba.” The poster feels like a throwback to the yesteryear era, with an effervescent Taapsee donning a saree with a rose pinned to her hair, while also featuring her other co-stars Harshvardhan and Vikrant.

Last week, the Thappad actress announced the film through a small video on Instagram with the words, “Kahani Aashiqana. Raaz Katilana. #HaseenDillruba coming soon. Only on Netflix. #TheUltimateKaunspiracy.” Produced by Aanand L Rai, the Vinil Mathew-directed murder mystery is written by Kanika Dhillon and has music by Amit Trivedi.
