Taapsee Pannu recently spoke about the box-office success of The Kashmir Files. The actor shared that if a small film like that can create a storm at the box office, then it can't be a bad film. At ABP Network's Ideas of India Summit, Pannu was asked about Vivek Agnihotri's movie The Kashmir Files doing well at the box office despite some controversy over its contents.

As per PTI, Pannu explained that she is aware of the figures. Whatever the cause, it happened, and the fact remains that it happened.

The Kashmir Files, a film about the departure of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley in the 1990s, has polarised critics, with some considering it a propaganda film.

Pannu went on to say that if a small film like that can generate those kinds of figures, it can't be a bad film, and one can question people's intentions, methods, and everything else. That is her personal opinion, and everyone has the right to express their own. Let's agree to differ on this one and let's just leave it at that.

Meanwhile, Pannu stated that the rigours of the profession might be demanding when asked about the continual pressure of being perfect in show business.

She stated that it can sometimes go beyond one's natural abilities. It's a difficult position to be in, being judged and debated at every dinner table, having to live up to the expectation of being good in every household, and knowing that this will determine how long one's career will last.

Pannu called acting one of the most mentally exhausting jobs she has ever had because her success or failure is determined by others. It's forbidden for her to have unpleasant days, and she is entitled to be happy all of the time and be open to whatever happens around her.

Because she adores being in front of the camera, the actor has learnt to accept it as the price of doing what she loves.
