Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Lalit Manchanda found dead in Meerut home, suicide suspected

Actor Lalit Manchanda, most recently seen in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, was found dead in his Meerut home. The 36-year-old reportedly died by suicide on Monday, April 21. The police discovered his mortal remains hanging inside the UP apartment. Soon after his demise, Lalit's photo with TMKOC actor Dilip Joshi started going viral.

Lalit Manchanda, 36, was found hanging in his Meerut apartment. Authorities arrived and took his mortal remains for post-mortem examination. There were no signs of foul play or outside involvement in the demise. No suicide note was retrieved from the TMKOC actor either.

Local media reported that Lalit Manchanda was battling mental stress and various other challenges, including financial burden, over the past few months. His demise has left everyone around heartbroken. The authorities are taking a closer look at Lalit's recent activities and investigating about his emotional state before being found dead. They are talking to Lalit's close friends and family members to understand what would have prompted the decision, if it indeed was suicide. The neighbours described Lalit as 'calm, warm and friendly.' Many remember him as a gentle soul gone too soon.

Apart from TMKOC, Lalit was also a part of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, India's Most Wanted and Crime Patrol among others. The actor was reportedly also working on a web series he was very passionate and hopeful about.
