Bhide battles with kothimbir vadi and sev kurmura. While he was waiting for Madhavi to serve him kothimbir vadi, he got sev kurmura instead. Bhide hopes for kothimbir vadi, gets sev kurmura instead

An excited Madhavi got breakfast for her husband, Bhide, and daughter Sonu. While Sonu is happy for her aai, Bhide is frustrated that Madhavi delayed the order. She justifies herself, saying that since Bhide woke up early, he has been hungry. He is extremely hungry just at the thought of getting to eat kothimbir vadi. Just as Madhavi is about to state, she hasn't made kothimbir vadi, Sonu takes the tray from her. With closed eyes, Bhide smells the kothimbir vadi, which is not even kothimbir vadi.

On realizing he has got sev kurmura, Bhide had an extreme reaction. This is after the kurmure got stuck in his nose while trying to smell them. Madhavi apologizes for not being able to make kothimbir vadi. It is because there was no besan in the house, and Abdul's phone was switched off. Bhide, now calm, tells Madhavi that he could have bought the besan for the kothimbir vadi instead.

Just as Sonu states that she gets upset about seeing her parents sad, Tapu makes an entry. Worried, he asks her why she is sad. As Tapu tells Sonu that he can get the moon and stars on Earth for her, Bhide jokingly asks if Tapu has hung them up somewhere. Bhide asks Tapu to get besan for the family instead. Tapu asks him for the tooth powder that Champak chacha uses, and that causes confusion, too. Bhide being Bhide, he tries to empty some manjan and give it to Tapu, but struggles. Thus, Tapu offers help. Frustrated, Bhide splashes the manjan away, without realizing it is actually splashing on Madhavi's face. After finally realizing where all of the manjan went, Bhide has an epic reaction. He puts the blame on Tapu almost instantly.
