Popatlal has joined Bhide to go to Sodhi’s friend’s birthday party. This happens after Madhavi shows concern about her husband also getting tempted to drink and get home. Popatlal, who considers them sisters, agreed to it. Now, Bhide and Popatlal are out to confirm that Sodhi does not get drunk at the party. Roshan convinces Bhide to go to the party with Sodhi

Sodhi's friends had promised Roshan that they wouldn't let him party, post which Roshan asked Bhide to go along. Roshan wants to send Bhide to keep an eye on Sodhi, but Madhavi is not too pleased with the idea. Roshan wants to send Bhide to confirm there's no 'party sharty.' Roshan puts Bhide in the spot, thus getting him to agree to the job.

Bhide gets a call from Abdul, owing to which he leaves the house. Madhavi and Roshan are now alone, giving them space to finally talk. Just as Roshan was about to leave, Madhavi caught her hand to stop her from doing so. Madhavi double-checked if Bhide has left and approaches Roshan with her concern - what if Bhide gets tempted and wants to end up drunk with Sodhi and the friends?

Madhavi recalls the time when Roshan was irritated after Sodhi got drunk, but Bhide had saved Sodhi from the scolding. Madhavi suggests getting someone who would keep an eye on both Bhide as well as Sodhi. They instantly think about Popatlal and call him up.

He gets excited thinking there's a wedding proposal and gives them sweets. Of course, the reality is far from it. Madhavi and Roshan think that Popatlal has found a match, while he believes they have. Eventually, the truth spills out since neither of them are here to talk about his wedding.
