Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah episode 4262 recap: Sodhi leaves Popatlal and Bhide troubled with his drunk antics

Sodhi is drunk against Roshan’s wishes, and this has left Bhide and Popatlal worried about Sodhi’s married life. Not just Sodhi, Bhide is worried about his own married life too after not being able to keep his friend and neighbour in check. Now, Bhide and Popatlal have come up with a plan, but Sodhi is still not co-operating. Popatlal and Bhide try to decide what to do with Sodhi

Sodhi gets drunk at his friend's party, thus leaving Popatlal and Bhide worried about the consequences. Bhide, furious, tells Popatlal that like Sodhi, even he will have to live outside his house for three days straight. He's upset because Popatlal had convinced Madhavi to send Bhide to the party. Meanwhile, Sodhi cannot even stand straight thanks to the alcohol effect.

Bhide is sure that Roshan is going to scold them all on seeing Sodhi's condition. Just as Bhide talks about her, Roshan calls. Drunk Sodhi wants to take the call, causing further chaos. Popatlal handles Sodhi, while Bhide talks to Roshan. Popatlal convinces Bhide to lie to Roshan and state that Sodhi did not do any 'party sharty.'

Bhide leaves Roshan worried about Sodhi, gets an hour’s deadline to be back home

Bhide ends up confirming to Roshan that Sodhi did party. She is not ready to forgive him and asks Bhide to inform Sodhi that he should not dare to come home.

Bhide takes back his words and like Popatlal suggested, goes with the lie. Bhide blames it on the music, and Roshan cannot hear it at all.

Roshan wants to talk to Sodhi, and Bhide instantly refuses. He ends up telling Roshan that Sodhi is out to buy Harmeet's birthday cake.

Now, Roshan is upset about the late-night partying. Thus, she sets the deadline of one hour to be back home. Bhide hesitantly agrees.

Sodhi’s drunk antics leave Popatlal and Bhide troubled

Just as Bhide and Popatlal talk, Sodhi disappears. Thus, the search begins. While searching, Sodhi starts screaming for police from his jeep. He sits next to the driver's seat and wonders where the steering wheel is. He was calling out the cops after assuming that the wheel was stolen, where in fact, it is very much there, just next to the seat.

Sodhi wants to take Popatlal and Bhide out for a long drive. Bhide asks Sodhi to give the keys to Popatlal. This is when Sodhi promises them that he will let them fly through the jeep. Bhide calls exactly that the problem. Sodhi refuses to give the keys, adamant that he will ride his jeep.

Bhide informs Popatlal that all they can do is confess to Roshan that Sodhi's friends got him forcibly drunk. Popatlal reminds Bhide of how Roshan had sent Sodhi while stating that she would listen to no excuses for getting drunk. She is not ready to forgive Sodhi if that happens.

Bhide asks Popatlal to go to the society and park the jeep outside. They plan to hide Sodhi in the garden, while Bhide gets the detox medicine from Dr. Hathi to sort out the matter.

Popatlal somehow convinces Sodhi to give him the jeep keys, but Sodhi puts a stop to the driving. He further asks Popatlal to 'pass the steering' to his seat.

When Bhide informs Sodhi that a detox is important, Sodhi wishes to get out of the car while giving Bhide a warning.

When Bhide asks for Sodhi's hand, he, mimicking Amitabh Bachchan's baritone voice, says that the hand belongs to Roshan. With Bhide finally taking action, Popatlal can drive the jeep to the society.
