Purush mandali gather to know what Popatlal is up to

Bhide scolds Popatlal and Sodhi joins in. Dr. Hathi wants to find out what news is Popatlal hiding. When Popatlal refuses to spill the tea, Sodhi gets fast and furious, not letting him leave. Popatlal promises that there would be something different with the Purush Mandali soon. Popatlal promises that somebody has good news while another has bad news.

Just then Jethalal joins in. Abdul also asks Popatlal what is he talking about. Popatlal warns Bhide of bad news, leaving the secretary shocked. Hathi is in the same condition.

Jethalal to receive bad news, but that’s just a regular day for him

Popatlal promises Abdul will get good news, but Jethalal will receive bad news. However, this doesn't leave Jethalal one bit surprised because it is just a regular thing for him at this point. Popatlal scares Jethalal that he is going to receive really bad news.

When Jethalal asks Popatlal what is to transpire, the journalist sets off again. This time, Jethalal holds him back. Popatlal promises Sodhi also to give the full information at night, leaving both Sodhi and Jethalal anxious at this point.

Popatlal dodges Purush Mandali to head for office and leave them at a cliffhanger

Popatlal dodges them all and heads off for office but fails miserably. It takes calling out Roshan's name for Popatlal to leave Sodhi's grasp and run off. However, Jethalal catches a hold of him, only to let go on seeing Babita.

Bhide and the others inform Babita and Iyer of what Popatlal did. Iyer tells them that Popatlal was teasing them. On hearing about Jethalal, Iyer expresses, "Arre waah!" Jethalal then warns Iyer that his chance will also come at night.
