Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) and Iyer (Tanuj Mahashabde) continue their war of words on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. In the recent episode, Iyer told Jethalal to eat chillies. In response, Jethiya told Iyer he has a great ‘sense of hammer’.

The latest episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah sees the Gokuldham vaasiyon talk about iconic singers like Bappi Lahiri, Lata Mangeshkar and SP Balasubramaniam, all of who passed away recently. During the time, Bhide (Mandar Chandwadkar) revealed that Lata Mangeshkar would eat both green and red chillies. Jethalal then added that despite that, she had a sweet voice, which is what matters.

On hearing that, Iyer teased Jethalal. He asked Jethalal to start eating chillies as well to get a sweet voice. Responding to him, Jethalal said that the scientist has a ‘good sense of hammer’.

Of course, Jethalal’s play of words confused everyone. While everyone thought Jethalal did not know it is sense of humour, he states that he does. Iyer corrected Jethalal and said it is sense of humour and hammer means hathoda. In return, Jethalal says he used the word hammer because Iyer’s joke was like a hammer.

During this episode as well, all the elders from Gokuldham education Tapu (Raj Anadkat) sena about the singers. Apart from that, they paid tribute to the singers in a heartwarming way.

Bagha (Tanmay Vekaria) remembered Nattu Kaka (played by late Ghanashyam Nayak). He started crying as Bhide explained about the singers.

While Bagha paid tribute to Ghanashyam, Popatlal (Shyam Pathak) continued talking about how legendary Mohammed Rafi was. He got extremely upset remembering that Rafi saab was no more. However, Babuji (Amit Bhatt) consoled him stating that such people are meant to be celebrated through their songs.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah airs on Sony TV and streams on Sony LIV. The show has been one of the longest-running shows on Indian TV. The episodes start streaming nearly a day after it airs on Television.
