Kiran Bhatt has replaced Ghanshyam Nayak as Nattu Kaka on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Late actor Ghanshyam is iconic as Nattu Kaka and he is almost irreplacable and thus, the makers also waited before bringing in a new actor. Now, Kiran is the new Nattu Kaka on the show.

Kiran is the latest addition to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The makers waited for a half a year before taking the decision.

Ghanshyam passed away on October 3 in 2021. The 77-year-old was battling cancer.

Interestingly, Ghanshyam had worked under Kiran Bhatt productions many times. His son Vikas Nayak revealed the same in a recent interview. He shared that Ghanshyam worked in various Gujarati plays produced by Kiran Bhatt.

Thus, Vikas feels that Kiran can do justice to the role of Nattu Kaka, that was associated with Ghanshyam for so long. Vikas also shares that while he did not follow the show for so long, he would want to do so after Kiran replaced his father.

Nattu Kaka is associated with Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah through Jethalal's Gada Electronics. He works in the store with his nephew Baagha and the young lad's lover, Baawri.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has seen a lot of replacements and two characters are still missing on the show - Taarak Mehta and Dayaben. While Shailesh Lodha recently quit as Taarak, Disha Vakhani is yet to return to her role as Dayaben on the hugely popular show. Like Nattu Kaka, Disha is associated with Dayaben and so, the makers did not replace her for so long.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the longest-running shows on Television. This show has crossed 3500 episodes and is on its way to create history on TV.
