Sitaare Zameen Par is one of the most-awaited films of 2025. Directed by R.S. Prasanna, the film is produced by Aamir Khan, and the latter also plays an important role in the film. Ahead of the June 20 theatrical release, Aamir has decided to stream his 2007 classic Taare Zameen Par for free on his YouTube channel as a special gesture for fans.
During a special fan meetup attended by several cast members and fans, the host mentioned a trivia fact from Taare Zameen Par featuring Aamir Khan, with a boat that includes a photograph of his real-life parents in the background. Aamir clarified, “No, that’s not my mom and dad. I guess, it is someone else’s mom and dad! Maybe it’s Amole Gupte’s parents. I don’t know. But it's not my parents at all.”
When the presenter admitted that he wanted to show that scene but couldn't find the picture online, Aamir admitted the matter and said, as reported by Bollywood Hungama, “Yes, the film is not anywhere.” He also suggested, “Let's do one thing. I have started a YouTube channel called Aamir Khan Talkies. I’ll tell my team that let’s upload Taare Zameen Par there free of cost. It can be available for 1–2 weeks.”

Aamir also praised Darsheel Safary's natural acting talent. He said, “When I used to explain the shot to him, he used to keep dancing continuously. I used to not mind it as I knew he was absorbing the whole scene."
Aamir also added that Darsheel was not distracted and as soon as they would go for a take, he would get into character immediately.
Taare Zameen Par tells the story of Ishaan Awasthi (Darsheel Safary), an 8-year-old boy struggling with dyslexia. Ishaan, though talented as an artist, faces academic difficulties and is eventually sent to boarding school, where he finds a sympathetic art teacher, Nikumbh (Aamir Khan), who identifies his dyslexia and helps him overcome it.
The story of Sitaare Zameen Par tells the story of Gulshan (Aamir Khan), a basketball coach who, after facing legal troubles, is ordered to coach a team of people with neurodivergent diseases. The film explores Gulshan's journey, where he learns to appreciate and understand the unique strengths and perspectives of his players, ultimately experiencing personal growth and transformation. The film also stars Genelia Deshmukh, and it is a remake of the Spanish film Champions.
Meanwhile, Sitaare Zameen Par will hit theatres on June 20, 2025.
