Tabu jokes Crew makers cast her in the film because she scolds people

Tabu, Kriti Sanon and Kareena Kapoor Khan unveiled the trailer of Crew earlier in the day. There, Tabu was asked what she thinks is the reason that filmmakers cast her for the roles she’s seen in. Tabu joked it is probably because she scolds people a lot. She took the question from the host of the event and not the media and in turn, called him out for saying that she scolds people a lot.

Tabu’s statement

“Daantne ke liye lete hai mujhe filmon mein,” Tabu said at the trailer launch. He further joked that the filmmakers made her use abusive language or scold others in movies that she is cast in.

Kareena on working with Tabu

At the launch, Kareena shared her excitement to work with Tabu. It is the first movie where they share screen in their years of working in Bollywood. Tabu has worked with Bebo’s sister Karisma Kapoor but never Kareena before Crew. While praising Tabu, Kareena also showered praises on her other co-star, Kriti Sanon. She called Kriti super talented and lovely.

About Crew

Directed by Rajesh Krishnan, Crew sees the three actresses in the role of airhostesses. Frustrated with their job, they find an opportunity to be rich after a passenger passes out and he has gold bars stripped to him. It is about the trio being caught in a web of lies owing to unwarranted situations. The film also sees Kapil Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh in cameo appearances and will release in theatres on March 29.
