What an eventful Valentine's Day it has been for ARMY, with BTS members Kim Taehyung, aka V, and Jeon Jungkook dominating every social media platform for various reasons. Whether it's Jungkook's behind-the-scenes Music Show promotional sketches, V's remixes of the song 'Wherever U R' with UMI, or both of them modelling for their respective brands, they've been making waves.

Despite both members being enlisted in the South Korean military, the work they completed before their enlistment is now being released. It all started with V taking to Weverse to update fans about himself, stating, "Doing an interim report. Achieved 72.5kg. I'll visit here again. Salute."

Later, BTS shared Jungkook's Music Show promotions sketch, which included the moment when V visited the group's youngest member during his performance at the Inkigayo show. V was seen providing moral support to Jungkook, who was about to perform his solo hit song 'SEVEN' in Korea for the first time.

Following this, W Korea released V's pictorial, serving as a surprise gift for ARMY to celebrate Valentine's Day. The pictures were in collaboration with CELINE, for which V serves as the brand ambassador.

Not just that, as promised, UMI released the remixes of their collab song 'Wherever U R (ft V of BTS)'.

Jungkook also stunned in Calvin Klein in a new TikTok video. The black-and-white footage showcased the singer flaunting his abs with short hair, accompanied by a grand piano.

ARMY couldn't contain their joy as they were inundated with 'TaeKook' (TAEhyung and jungKOOK) content on Valentine's Day.

What are V and Junkook up to?

Currently, both singers have enlisted in the South Korean military service and are scheduled to be released from duty in 2025, along with Jimin, RM, and SUGA. While Jungkook joined the military service with Jimin in the buddy system, V chose a different path and applied to the Capital Defense Command Special Mission Division (SDT).

After successfully passing rigorous screenings, interviews, and fitness tests, V proceeded to complete a 5-week basic training programme. Subsequently, he entered the Army's Comprehensive Administration School, where he underwent an additional three weeks of specialised training.
