Tahir Raj Bhasin calls Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein’s Ladakh shoot ‘the most challenging schedule’

Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein is the latest Indian content that is dominating Netflix. Tahir Raj Bhasin, who plays the lead in the series has now opened up about shooting for the show in Ladakh and its challenges. 

Talking to IANS, the actor said, “I would call it the most challenging shoot schedule that I ever had. I have never shot in Ladakh before. We were shooting around March and it was around -7°C,”

He continued by saying that when you shoot there you have to acclimatize to the surroundings as the oxygen keeps changing and that this was the time that the second wave had starred in metro cities. 

The actor also said that there was a time when he had to use an oxygen cylinder after a days shoot and that at that point he did not know whether it was because of Ladakh or because of COVID and that it was sary.

The actor also commended the team of the show for filming the show in minus degree conditions for 12 hours a day. 

Created by Sidharth Sengupta, Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein stars Bhasin, Anchal Singh, and Shweta Tripathi in the lead roles. Backed by Edgestorm Pictures, the show follows a small-time man who is forcefully married to a politician’s daughter, until he decides to make some changes.

The Netflix series is a romantic thriller which has action, thrills, drama and romance. The story also involves an interesting love triangle where Bhasin’s character attracts the affection of the two leading ladies. 

The show, which also features Saurabh Shukla, Surya Sharma, Arunoday Singh, Brijendra Kala, Anant Joshi, Sunita Rajwar and Hetal Gada, is available to stream on Netflix.
