Taha Shah Badussha, who is playing one of the principal characters in the upcoming web series Taj - Divided By Blood, is thrilled that he got the chance to work with Naseeruddin Shah in the series. Taha says that working with the veteran actor was nothing less than attending an acting class.

In the show, Taha plays Murad, one of the sons of Mughal Emperor Akbar, who is played by Naseer. Sharing his experience of working with the veteran actor, Taha said, "I feel fortunate to be able to share screen space with a legendary actor like Naseeruddin Shah. Onscreen, he plays my father, and Naseer sir was an absolute delight off-screen as well. It was the learning experience of a lifetime, taking tips about the craft from him."

Taha added that even after working for so many years, Naseer's dedication made him learn so much more about the craft of acting. He said, "Even after decades, he reads his scripts like a newcomer, striving to make each scene better. It was an absolutely humbling experience to watch him. Not only does he share his input about the script, but he also encourages thoughts and ideas from his co-actors, no matter how new or established they are. This is something that inspired me."

Asked about the kind of conversations that both of them had on the set of the show, Taha said, "We would chat about our scenes, acting styles, the process of acting, and his experiences over the years. This not only facilitated my growth as an actor, but also as a person."

Taj: Divided by Blood is set in the 16th century and revolves around the succession of emperor Akbar's empire among his three sons: Salim, Murad, and Daniyal. The show has a huge star cast that includes actors like Dharmendra, Rahul Bose, Zarina Wahab, Sandhya Mridul, Aashim Gulati, and Aditi Rao Hydari. It will be available to stream on OTTplay and ZEE5 starting March 3.
