 Kirsten Stewart was born in Los Angeles to parents working in the entertainment industry. From an early age, she started acting in minor roles in various movies. She gained prominence for her role as the daughter of Jodie Foster in David Fincher’s movie Panic Room, earning her accolades. She also starred in multiple films such as Speak, Zathura: a Space Adventure, Catch That Kid, and Into the Wild. Kirsten hit the peak of her stardom with the Twilight franchise spanning five movies becoming one of the highest-grossing series of all time. To a lot of her fans and audience in general, she still remains the shy girl who fell in love with a vampire. 

But she has grown out of the melancholic and slightly blank tone presented in Twilight to try out more diverse roles in movies from independent production houses. Some of her notable roles come from movies such as Still Alice, Equals, and Clouds of Sils Maria, For the latter, she received acclaim garnering her César Award for Best Supporting Actress. Recently, she has also been nominated for her portrayal of the free-spirited princess Diana from the biographical drama Spencer.
